313th Squadron RAF T-Shirt
The 313th Squadron RAF T-Shirt exclusviely from The Warbird Coffee Company.
Sgt Václav Truhlář was a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Pilot with No. 313 Squadron RAF, a squadron comprised of volunteer pilots from Czechoslovakia formed in May 1941. On the 10th April 1942, while flying his Spitfire Mk. VB, AA865 as part of a 'Rodeo' (fighter sweep) mission he was shot down by Feldwebel Karl Willius of 3./JG 26 over the Pas-de-Calais, wounded he managed to bail out and became a Prisoner of War. This is our tribute to Sgt Truhlář and all of the pilots and aircrew who escaped tyranny to fight for their country and freedom.
