The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt was the heaviest single seat fighter of World War 2! With it's huge Pratt & Whitney R-2800 radial engine delivering 2000 horsepower and eight .50 calibre heavy machine guns, it was like a flying tank!
Acting as the mainstay of the Mighty Eighth's Fighter Command during 1943 it would provide the vital close escort for the 'Heavies' during the 8th Air Force's darkest days.
Our P-47 Thunderbolt Coffee is made from rich tasting coffee beans sourced from the West African country of Cameroon. Full of vibrant flavour and packing a punch just like it's namesake!
